Well you see lately Ive been kind of fangirl-ing over Anime guys
Recently its Been Morinozuka Takashi from Ouran High School Host club.
From Left to right the Names are
Huninozuka Mitskuni, Ootori Kyoua, Tamaki Suoh, Fyujoka Haruhi, Hitachiin (Twins) Hikaru and Kaoru, then Morinozuka Takashi (I think i spelled then all right xD)
The plot is that at Ouran High School for the rich and fabulous !! There are the guys and then Haruhi. See she breaks this vase and so they enlist her as a host in their host club. SO everyone at the school thinks shes a dude. Besides the 5 guys. AND !!! So forth its about her and the adventures she has with them. The Anime is a romantic comedy. So there are pairings of Haruhi and the guys. Who are all straight by the way.
Most people go with Tamaki and Haruhi. I dont like this pairing...personally
Tamaki and Haruhi have something in common. They are both oblivious to their feelings. Haruhi is usually pretty chill. She doesnt like girl stuff. Too unconventional. Haruhi's mom is also lawyer, but she died young. Her dad's a transvestite. She wants to be a lawyer too after her mom. Shes not very romantic. Shes very logical and intellectual.
In the anime and the Manga these two are the main coupling
Back to Tamaki- his moms like this french lady with lupus. His dad is Japanese business man. His grandma is a crazy old hag with no feelings. However, Tamaki is determined to mend his family's messes. He also plays piano is very creative and likes dogs a lot. People are drawn to his bright personality.
Then theres the Twins- Hikaru and Kaoru

Kaoru- is the calmer and more philosophical one of the twins. He's more compassionate and understanding than his brother. He too like Haruhi. But he will step aside for Hikaru and Haruhi's happiness.
HOwever , for most of the series the twins are seen as a single Identity. They are in one word "Dry" only do things they're interested in. They use their "Forbidden brother love" to make the women at the host club woo. Bur both are interested in Haruhi. In the Manga theres an arc about them becoming their own identity. Hikaru dyes his hair even so that they can be ID'd . And in the Anime their hair is coloured pink and blue in an episode. Their mom is a fashion designer so they have impeccable taste in clothes. Father is unknown. They like spicy food. They also had no friend other than each other prior to the host club. They viewed everyone as an idiot and would be very cruel to people. Playing mind tricks and turning words against the speaker.
In the manga and the Anime the romance of Haruhi and Kaoru and Haruhi and Hikaru are both explored.
In the anime Kaoru sets up Hikaru on a date. But in the Manga Kaoru asks Haruhi on a date and Hikaru asks Mori and Huni to go to the same amusement park to ruin/ make Kaoru jealous.
On to Kyouya Ootori! He's the mastermind behind everything. Kyouya is generally sinister and cold. He uses his friends to benefit himself. Often in ways that are hidden. For example he let them rent the new amusement park that his family financed. But didnt tell them they were the Genia pigs. He would never admit it but Kyouya does in fact care for the host club members. As far as his position the Host club! He manages finances and logistics. Tamaki thinks up the themes. However, Kyouya will often set up Tamaki so that Tamaki will make choices that Kyouya likes. Example- Kyouya placed brochures for Hawaii and Samoa on the table for Tamaki to see. The next day Tamaki announced that the next theme will be "Tropical islands." Despite their relationship's haziness the two are very good friends! He has two older brothers and an older sister. The older brothers are highly educated and one is a businessman and one is a doctor. His sister is closest to him I think. Shes often in his room rearranging his clothes... I think its because she has issues with her marriage. These only appear in the manga. I mentioned this because it shows that Kyouya has a lot to live up to. Kyouya's daddy is one of those super tough business guys.As far as the romance with Haruhi- there isnt really one. One episode in the Anime he has the opportunity to sexual assault Haruhi. But doesnt, because Haruhi convinces him that he would gain nothing from it. In the Anime there are ... maybe slight tiny itty bitty miniscule hints but not really. For example Huni in the end of the Anime asks Kyouya "if hes neglecting his own feelings" Kyouya only laughs and says "What? that raccoon-girl?"
he then says that he wouldnt choose a girl that wouldnt benefit his family. So Kyouya and Haruhi coupling is rare. He also studies German.
Haninozuka Mitskuni
Is the second eldest actually. He's a High school senior. He's stubborn but very compassionate. He's also quite insightful and intuitive. In episode 7 of the anime its discovered that he is a master of Judo and karate(I think) anyway he's a beast in combat. He has a brother nicknamed Chika. They dont get along much because Chika is disapproving of Huni's choice of entering the host club and indulging himself with sweets and candies, as opposed to training hard in martial arts. You see the Haninozuka are known for their masterful skills as martial artists. Huni joined the host club because Tamaki convinced him it would be better to be himself. Which, is a person who loves plushies and sweets. Huni is also considered the "baby" of the group so he's cut alot of slack. You also dont want to wake him up after his naps/ daily sleep because he's scary when awoken. He and Mori have a super tight relationship. They are cousins by marriage and as such the Morinozuka family is to serve the Haninozuka family for some generations. But it should have ended and the servitude would have ceased. However Mori continues the role. The romance of Huni and Haruhi is nigh non-existent. There are no romantic shots of the two of them in either the manga or the anime. I can't even find any fan art of the two.FINALLY THE BEST!!!!! For last!!!
Takashi Morinozuka!!!!!!
HES MY FAVORITE!!!
Takashi is the guy in the background. He's a sober-minded, absent faced guy who says little, if anything. But, I don't think that makes his character lesser. He speaks with actions as opposed to words. He's the eldest and only joined the host club because Huni did. I have complex feelings on their relationship. Some fans suggest a romantic relationship bewteen the two. But, i don't think so. Mori serves Huni willfully and happily. I can speak from experience that when you serve someone happily and willfully you freaking love them. Even if that person treats you like crap and is the worst person in the world, it is sooo hard to hate someone you serve. Mori is the Kendo national champion. He has killer instinct and is protective of all the host club members. In the anime like episode 2 Haruhi is being harassed by the twins and shouts for help from mori- senpai. Mori, who is like across the room, bolts up and grabs her from the twins. It happens so fast that i dont think that even he noticed what he had done till he had done it. In another episode when Huni is washed away by the current Mori goes off by instinct to find Huni. Haruhi says its dangerous to go alone and trails after him. She however winds up being carried by Mori because shes scared of the animals in the jungle. He carries her with ONE ARM TOO!!!! (smexy points!) No one really knows whats going on in his head, because hes generally expressionless. But, when upset he runs into stuff and is totally dysfunctional. Also when he's tired hes super flirty!!! As Exposed in the Manga extra's in chapter 21~ He has a younger bro named Satoshi. He only appears in the manga though. Satoshi is loud and hyper. The opposite of Mori :P Anyway Mori likes to read( as he is often seen doing in the anime) he likes to make models and paint them (Manga) he also really likes animals and has a knack for communicating with them. In the Manga he takes care of a chicken and like a Raccoon or something. Its adorable.He's very caring and gives Haruhi some of his strawberries because he knows she likes them. I also think Mori has an edge in regards to power in the host club. Both Tamaki and Kyouya have huge respect for Mori. In the anime Tamaki says to stay out of Mori's life. Which is usual for him. Mori then asks for help. Tamaki is ecstatic lol. But point being Tamaki waited for Mori's ok before jumping into action. Mori's a Taros, goes to college to be lawyer, is 6'2'' and is totally sexy!!! hahaRomance with Haruhi- Its hinted at but never fully explored. He gives Haruhi strawberries like i mentioned and in the Manga has a rather intimate shot with Haruhi during the Alice in wonderland Parody arc.
My vote goes for Mori and Haruhi <3 look how cute they are!
